The Nursing Aide online program’s structure comprises of theory and clinical training. As a nursing assistant, you will learn the fundamentals of providing basic medical care to the patients and assisting them in daily tasks.

Participants will learn how to help patients accomplish daily living tasks:

  • Bathe, groom, dress up and feed patients

  • Mouth and hair care

  • Making beds

  • Catheter care

  • Bowel and bladder care

  • Taking vital signs (temp, pulse, blood pressures etc)

  • Helping patients walk with walker, cane and other devices

  • Assisting with range-of-motion exercises

  • Transfer wheelchair-bound patients

  • Turning and positioning bedridden patients

  • Reporting all changes to the nurse

  • Observing, reporting and documentation
